After Past and Present

After Past and Present (NO) is a creative collective comprising young, up-and-coming musicians from the jazz and improvisation scene in Trondheim. In the autumn of 2026, the sextet released its debut album, «Fanfare for Armageddon», on the French-Norwegian label Autres Record, run by L’Autre Collectif / Det Andre Kollektivet.

The debut album is the product of intricate compositions meeting improvised musical landscapes, alongside political messages regarding freedom and equality and themes reflecting our generation's concerns about the future. The music features explosive rhythmic motifs, lyrical melodies, extended improvisations, and rich tonal colors.
